About us

West Side de Berkeley car club was established in 1978 by Anthony Vasquez Sr. and then reformed in 2013.
After being semi-retired, he decided to get some of the original members along with some new ones as well the Friends and Families from the Berkeley Community and other surrounding areas. From there, we began holding charitable and fundraising events along with other participating Bay Area car clubs. We are proud to say that we are now a non-profit organization.
The first charitable event we held was for the Oakland Kaiser Pediatric Ward for terminally ill children. We held a dance and raised money to purchase arts and crafts, toys, and gift cards for the children. We will continue to hold annual fundraisers and give back to our communities by planning and having events such as dances, picnics, and car shows.
